Book Fair Hours
Due to last week's storm the book fair hours have been extended.
The book fair will be open to families on Thursday, November 29th from 3 PM-7:30 PM.
Students can purchase books on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday between 8:45 and 9:10 AM and 12:10-12:45 PM.
With impending weather on Thursday, I will be in contact with the book company to see what we can do.

November Book Fair
Our
first Book Fair will be held in the school library from Monday, November 19th
until Friday, November 23rd.
The fair will be open from 8:45 a.m. until 2:40 p.m. on Monday, November 19 and Tuesday, November 20th for students to look through the selection of books with their home room class.
On Wednesday, November 21st and Thursday, November 22nd, the fair will be open from 8:45 a.m. until 2:40 p.m. for students to purchase books.
On Thursday evening, the fair will be open from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. for families to purchase books.
The fair will also be open for families on Friday Nov. 23rd from 9:00 a.m. until 12:00 p.m.
We accept cash and/or cheques made out to Sherwood School only.

New Additions
Thanks to the generous support of our Sherwood families at our book fairs during the 2017-18 school year, we have been able to add almost 300 books to our library. These include both French & English fiction and non-fiction titles. Students will be able to start signing out these books during their first book exchange period.

The final day for all book exchanges is Friday, June 8th.
All books are due back on Friday, June 15th.
For anyone with lost or misplaced books, the replacement cost is $5 or a replacement book. If the lost book is found, the money/replacement book will be returned.

May Book Fair
Our final book fair gets underway today with a viewing for all classes on Monday & Tuesday.
Purchasing days are Wednesday & Thursday. All purchases must be complete by Thursday at 12:45 PM.

Another Successful Book Fair
A huge thank you goes out to the Sherwood School community that supported this
year’s book fair. The profits from the book fair will be used to support the
school library as well as classroom libraries.
A special thank you to Carol Fitzpatrick for leading the way to make this a successful event. Also thanks to volunteers John MacKinnon and Joan Gallant for helping out during the fair. There were many Sherwood students that helped as well. Look for our next fair in May, 2018. It will a buy one get one free event.
